What to wear
Camden’s uniform colours are navy blue and light blue stripes.
Girls have a choice of either a crop top or singlet top with a navy boy leg pant or navy bike pant (with no logo).
Boys wear the club singlet with navy blue shorts or navy blue bike pant worn under the navy shorts.
Registration and age numbers must be worn on the singlet or t-shirt or championship points will not be awarded.
Athletes are required to wear shoes in all events.
Spikes are allowed in all races run entirely in lanes eg hurdles; 70m; 100m; 200m; 400m.
Spikes may also be worn in the 8oom event from Under 13 and older.
Spikes are also permitted for high jump; long jump; triple jump; and javelin.
Spikes are only able to be worn in the Under 11 age group through to senior groups.
Under 6, Under 7, Under 8 , Under 9 and Under 10 age groups are NOT permitted to wear spikes.
Uniforms can be purchased at our Club’s canteen on a Friday night. Uniforms are not compulsory for Camden competition nights (but registration numbers and age patches must be worn). The Camden Club uniform is compulsory if you represent Camden at Gala days, Zone, Region or State events.
Throughout the early months of the start of the season, it is particularly cold and we encourage warm clothing over uniforms even whilst competing.
Compression pants or “skins” can be worn by boys and girls UNDER their shorts. For girls they can be worn on their own if they are a plain colour (eg navy blue or black) if they do not have any stitching, brand name or a logo on them.
Tiny Tots are not required to wear a uniform.
